I am Julia Smith, founder of:
The All Dolled Up Experience and Makeova Ministry.

I am a mother, pastor, author, master stylist, entrepreneur and life coach.

One of the things I'm proud of in my life would be the evolution of my business, because it is the ever-changing testament of life. I've been in the beauty industry for 29 years, I was born into the industry, my mom was in beauty school when she carried me. I started my career at 12 years of age and have been

going strong ever since. 

In 2014 I unexpectedly fell ill and ended up paralyzed on my whole left side and waist-down off and on for three years. It was the best of times; it was the worst of times.
It allowed me to sit down and take an honest look at my life from every angle,

but most importantly, it allowed me to learn and listen to the still small voice

of the Lord.
During those three years, I lost my business, ended up homeless,

got married and divorced, lost my memory, lost and regained custody of my children, launched my wig line for women with medical hair loss, and most importantly

grew my relationship with God.

Shortly after, I experienced a miraculous healing in my body and mind,

and received a new blueprint for my business.

The focus of my business transitioned from outer beauty

to beauty from the inside out.

I also accepted my calling as a Minister of the Gospel of Jesus Christ because

I now have my own testimony all for the Glory of God.

My passion for the beauty industry and my love for God collided and birthed;

The Makeova Ministry.

My salon is no longer known for just great hair but also a place for

healing, miracles, and deliverance.
It has become Ministry From Behind The Chair and Beyond.
